Parish Councillor Vacancy
Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 87
(2) of the Local Government Act, 1972 that a casual vacancy has occurred in the office of Councillor for the Aston Clinton Parish.
If any TEN electors for the ward or parish give notice in writing to the Returning Officer by Tuesday 27th of November 2013 requesting that an election be held, the vacancy will be filled at a by-election.
The Returning Officer is Andrew Grant and his address, to which such notice should be sent is, Electoral Services, The Gateway, Gatehouse Road, Aylesbury, Bucks HP19 8FF.
If no such notice is received, the Parish Council will, at their meeting on the 4th December 2013 fill the vacancy by co-option of a suitably qualified person.
If you are interested in this role, please email the Clerk of the Parish Council before 30th of November 2013.
Please state your reasons why you wish to be a Parish Councillor and what you feel you could bring to the village and its residents by being on the Parish Council.
Review of Mobile Library Services
Notification from Bucks County Council:
At present we deliver a service once every 2 weeks and we now will be moving to once every 4 weeks.
With effect from 1st November, the mobile library services in your parish are as follows:
Longplough, Aston Clinton.
14.05 to 14.25
The School, Twitchell Lane, Aston Clinton.
14.30 to 15.35
